three cheers for global warming

The weather is truly bizarre, and everyone is talking about it. It's now mid-December, and there's no snow! It's well above freezing during the day; it was much colder back in October when we had no heat. The snow that fell in early November disappeared weeks ago. Russia and Ukraine are experiencing their warmest winter in 150 years so far--and I wouldn't mind if it continued, though a bit of snow would be nice. It's even raining in Moscow and St. Petersburg, which simply shouldn't happen in December!
