imperialism and bikers

Being the imperialist that I am, I especially enjoyed sites that testified to Tallinn's history as a tsarist beach resort. There were beautifully preserved log houses from the 19th century all over the city--you rarely see things like that in Russia!

Peter the Great adored the city, and built a palace for his wife (and a cabin for himself).

He gave her a nice mirror, too, which afforded me the opportunity to admire my tan!

This is random, but a gang of Finnish bikers took their motorcycles on the ferry on the way back. I just thought it was funny.
