a walk around the hood

This is my street, whose name I can't pronounce. It looks like your average Helsinki block. Except the barn. What's with the barn?

The urban barn--they're all over this neighborhood--allows members of this communal garden to store their tools. Finns are SERIOUS about their nature. Even in the city.

As a result, Helsinki is quite sprawling and green, even moreso than Berlin. This is the view (of a different city-barn) from around the corner:
