Happy Christmas to all! I'm finding Christmas spirit wherever it exists in Kiev. You have to hunt to find people celebrating this weekend, since Orthodox Christmas is Jan. 7. This morning I went to a service at a German Lutheran church. Tomorrow, going to try to hit Polish Catholic mass. Tonight, some Catholics and foreigners are getting together for dinner, which should be nice. But I'm missing Christmas carols! They're playing "Let it Snow" in Ukrainian translation in the grocery store, but it just isn't the same...
