PS--Today is the 89th anniversary of the "Great October Revolution." The day hasn't been an official holiday in Ukraine since 2000, but demonstrations are planned by both communists and others nostalgic for the Union, and by their Ukrainian nationalist opponents. Street fighting is expected again--this will be the third such episode this month.
